Paul and I saw a break in the bad weather and headed to the course since we thought that the rain would hold up . In fact, the rain held up, therefore when we go out the course it was empty because many golfers anticipated the rain.
Well I am just going to get right into it. I suck. I need help. The only that I have going for me is that when I am suffering through a round, I do it consistently. My golf partner Paul has a lot of patience. I think that it is because he has played the game so long that he has probably played many rounds with hackers like me.
Don't get me wrong, there are days that I can't miss a fairway, but today I wa

s totally off. It was not until the end of the round that Paul noticed that I am reaching for the ball during my setup. That is causing me to have a flat swing and that in turn causes me to slam a mean hook. Enough about that. I hope to practice my setup by standing a bit more over the ball.
This was the first time that I played
Jacaranda Golf Club. Paul has played here many times before. We played the
East Course, playing pin
position 2 (although the sign said 3).
Both, the East and West Course were both redone and the greens were in great condition. If you are a local, then the best course that you can compare this to is
Plantation Preserve. The cost for a non-member before 12pm ran us $40 per person plus tax. Not a bad price considering that Northerners would expect to pay double that this time of the year.
Defiantly a course that I look forward to play again.
